Election 2010: The First Automated Election In the Philippine History

And because it's automated, in less than a week, official results has been posted and the COMELEC was able to declare some of the elected local officials faster than it was before. FAST. That's the keyword in automation. But it doesn't turn out that way when we cast our votes. It was a good idea though that they prioritized the Elders, the Pregnant Women and the Handicapped. But the procedure on how it was implemented did slowed down the process. What is the outcome? Voting has to be extended up until 10PM. Worst. Some were not able to make it. Some just went home rather wait for their turns for the endless queues that doesn't seem to move. Thousands of votes had been wasted. But not mine. Good thing that I have with me my cheap Cannon digicam. I was able to find an alternative to get away from the boredom of long unmovable queues.
As I tried to look around, I found some pots of flowers and hanging plants that caught my attention. These flowers and plants didn't actually look good at a distant but when I tried to have a closer look, I said "WOW, these things look awesome!".
I picked up my digicam and set it to Macro mode. And here's what I got:
A candle-like plant that's trying to make her way out of the falling leaves:

These are roots of an Orchid.

These are hanging plants:

And lastly, the beautiful tiny weeny flowers. Believe me, each of these flowers is about half-inch in diameter.
